Who This Applies To
These terms apply to every digital product sold through Digital Mentor.
Digital Mentor creates digital resources for consultants, advisors, and professionals working in management, consulting, and public relations. Products may include slide decks, client systems, KPI boards, proposal vaults, training modules, and other business-use materials delivered entirely online.
No physical products are sold, shipped, or returned.
How Digital Fulfillment Works
When payment is successfully completed, the purchased product is made available electronically. Access may be provided through a download page, email delivery, customer account, secure portal, or another online method used by Digital Mentor.
A purchase is treated as fulfilled once the relevant file, link, login details, or access instructions have been issued to the customer. Fulfillment is complete at that point, even if the customer has not yet opened, downloaded, or used the product.
Final-Sale Basis for Digital Goods
All Digital Mentor products are sold on a final-sale basis once access has been granted.
This rule exists because digital materials can be saved, copied, stored, and used immediately after delivery. Unlike physical goods, digital products cannot be meaningfully returned in unused condition after they have been made available.
As a result, returns, exchanges, cancellations, and standard refunds are not normally available after delivery.
Limited Situations We May Review
Although purchases are generally final, Digital Mentor may examine a request where there is a confirmed problem directly related to product delivery. Review is limited to the following situations:
-
the product was not delivered because of a verified technical issue on the Digital Mentor side
-
the file is fully corrupted or inaccessible and cannot be repaired, replaced, or reissued
If one of these situations is confirmed, Digital Mentor will first try to correct the problem by restoring access, resending the product, or supplying a working version. A refund may be considered only where the issue cannot be resolved through replacement or corrected delivery.
Situations That Do Not Qualify for a Refund
Refunds will not be issued because a customer changed their mind, misunderstood the product after purchase, or later decided that the resource did not match their preferred style, workflow, or expectations.
Refunds are also not available for:
-
lack of technical knowledge
-
misunderstanding of the product scope where the description was already provided
-
failure to review the product details before checkout
-
dissatisfaction based on personal design or usability preferences
-
minor differences in formatting or presentation that do not materially change the product
-
customer-side software, browser, device, or environment limitations
If the product was delivered substantially as described, personal dissatisfaction alone does not create a refund right.
What Customers Should Review Before Buying
Customers are expected to review the product page carefully before placing an order. This includes checking what the product contains, how it is intended to be used, what format it is delivered in, and whether it suits the customer’s professional needs.
Digital Mentor aims to present descriptions, features, and previews as clearly and accurately as possible so customers can make informed decisions before purchasing.
Buyer Responsibility After Purchase
Once access has been granted, the customer is responsible for maintaining their files, download details, login credentials, and any other access information associated with the purchase.
Unless a product page specifically states otherwise, Digital Mentor does not promise permanent storage of purchased files on behalf of the customer. Customers should download and securely store their materials once delivered.
Product Fit and Professional Use
Digital Mentor products are created to support professional work in consulting, advisory services, management, and communications. Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their own client work, internal systems, team needs, and intended use before purchase.
Buying a product means the customer has decided that the resource is suitable for their own use case.
Access Support
If there is a delay or issue affecting access to a purchased product, Digital Mentor may provide reasonable assistance to help complete delivery.
This may include resending download links, restoring account access, or offering another suitable method of delivery. Support efforts are intended to make sure the customer receives the purchased product, but they do not create a general right to a refund.
License and Use Restrictions
A purchase gives the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the product for its intended personal or internal professional purpose, unless a different license scope is clearly stated on the product page.
The purchase does not transfer ownership of the product or of any underlying intellectual property rights. All such rights remain with Digital Mentor unless expressly transferred in writing.
No Redistribution or Resale
Products purchased from Digital Mentor may not be resold, redistributed, republished, reproduced for outside circulation, sublicensed, or shared with unauthorized users without prior written permission.
This includes sharing files, forwarding paid access links, repackaging templates or systems, or making purchased materials available to third parties outside the permitted scope of use.
Unauthorized use or distribution may result in restricted access, canceled usage rights, refusal of future purchases, or further action where necessary.
No Guaranteed Outcomes
Digital Mentor products are intended to provide structure, tools, and professional guidance. Results may vary depending on the customer’s business context, implementation, skill, clients, market conditions, and other external factors.
For that reason, Digital Mentor does not guarantee any specific consulting outcome, revenue result, client result, presentation result, operational improvement, or business performance improvement from the use of its products.
Revisions to Products and Terms
Digital Mentor may update, improve, replace, reorganize, or discontinue products, delivery methods, previews, or supporting materials from time to time. Unless a product page clearly states otherwise, a purchase does not include a promise of future versions, expanded editions, or ongoing updates.
Digital Mentor may also revise these terms at any time. Any updated version becomes effective once published on the website. Continued use of the website and its products will be governed by the version then in effect.
